Dr. Lindsay Donahue
My name is Lindsay Donahue N.D., I'm a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in California and a graduate of National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM), the oldest Naturopathic college in the United States, located in Portland, Oregon.
I'm here to help you achieve the health you dream of. A healthy body means: fewer pharmaceutical medications, more physical resilience, treating the actual cause of your condition and not just chasing symptoms, increasing your energy, allowing a more fulfilling life. I'm an advocate about the benefits of whole foods and quality supplements. I'll assist you in achieving a balanced, active, and healthy lifestyle. My role is to help you get well, physically, emotionally, and mentally, while supporting the development of healthy life habits that will slow the chronic disease and aging process.
I have been interested in health and wellness for the past 16 years. I first learned about and sought care from an "Alternative" Doctor (a D.O.) in 1993, and immediately knew that Natural medicine was going to be a passion of mine. My interests include European advances in natural medicine, including Drainage therapy, German Biological Medicine, Homotoxicology, and Bioresonance therapy. Bioresonance therapy is a natural pharmaceutical-free method used to treat allergies and sensitivities. Bioresonance therapy is helpful for those whose bodies are unnecessarily over-reactive to allergens. I enjoy traveling to Kelowna, British Columbia to study under my mentor Dr. Wagstaff, a 1982 graduate from National College of Natural Medicine.
During my naturopathic clinical education I completed a year-long mentor shift under Dr. Sandberg-Lewis which focused on treating patients with traumatic brain injuries using neuro-feedback. I continue studying Drainage therapy under Dr. Robert Abell ND LAc and Dr. Dick Thom. Post-graduation, I worked in Beaverton, Oregon at Dandelion Naturopathic under Dr. Sawhill before returning to the central coast.
I attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, for my undergraduate studies, where I focused on human anatomy and physiology, graduating with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. I am a Master's swimmer and member of SLO Road Runner Running and Triathlon club. I am married to another Cal Poly Alumni, Ethan. I sometimes join him on rafting or kayaking adventures on river's in California and in the Pacific Northwest.
